Cultural Fun Day - 5+yrs (Families welcome)

Hello! We are the youth panel, we are a group of young people aged 16-19 years and we come together once a month to plan and organise an event by ourselves with support of Diamondz dance founder Abbi Thompson.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Youth Panel Hour with Libby, Holly, Niki and Olivia

This is the start of our event, where the Youth Panel has planned an hour of fun and educational activities. ​Your child will get to play interactive games such as pin the flag on the map, find the pizza slices and participate in a fun quiz.

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Spanish Fun with Louise Fuller

During this time, your child will have the opportunity to dive into the Spanish culture and learn some interesting and fun Spanish phrases. The session will be filled with energy and interactive methods, making the session both entertaining and educational.

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break

We've scheduled a one-hour lunch break at 12 PM for participants who are staying with us for the entire day. Participants must bring their own lunch. Colouring and craft activities will be provided.

1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: History of Lincolnshire with Ryan Gilmartin

In this session, we'll be exploring some of the rich history of Lincolnshire, UK. Participants will embark on a culinary and educational adventure, diving into Lincolnshire's historic background and enjoying tasty traditional British treats. (Dietary requirements & allergen information will be requested after booking)

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Polish Folk Art with Liz Kelleher

It's time to get creative! Participants will have the chance to express their creativity and craftsmanship through hands-on arts and crafts activities.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Polish Folk Dance with Youth Panel member Olivia Mohale (Mentored by Wiktoria Grzes)

To wrap up our eventful day, we'll be putting on our dancing shoes and immersing ourselves in the vibrant world of Polish folk dancing. This energetic and lively activity will not only introduce Participants to traditional Polish culture but also promise an hour filled with laughter, music, and dance.

£4 per session 

*THE WHOLE DAY IS SUPPORTED BY EXPERIENCED DIAMONDZ STAFF MEMBERS- ABBI THOMPSON & DIANE SPINKS

*FULL DAY PARTICIPANTS CAN ATTEND WITHOUT AN ADULT, ABBI & DIANE WILL BE THEIR CHAPERONE FOR THE DAY, A CONTACT FORM INCLUDING MEDICAL & CONSENTS WILL BE OBTAINED BEFORE THE EVENT
